Mason Jar with Flowers
My Mason Jars have been really popular since I introduced them for Mother's Day 2023. They are perfect for gifts, or just to decorate & brighten any room. The wood used is slightly larger than my usual pieces, at 22.5cm height, to allow room for the flowers at the top of the jars.
I decided to keep all the Mason Jars simple with White thread, then set them off using coloured backgrounds. They are available in Natural, Pink, Periwinkle & Moroccan Mint. I've used a contrasting colour for the central heart & complimentary colours for the flowers. You can Commission alternative colours. The Olive Heart on Natural was originally made to match my customers wallpaper. I liked the contrast so added it to my range.
1.) Pink background - Shades of Blue Heart & White flowers.
2.) Periwinkle background - Pink Heart - Yellow flowers.
3.) Moroccan Mint background - Purple Heart - Lilac flowers.
4.) Natural background - Olive Heart - White flowers.
The threading has been done in 2 levels of bolder edging, to give my usual depth, but also allow for the flower stems to be threaded in between the pins & thread levels. The flowers can be changed yourself if you'd prefer an alternative. ( Carefully pull the stems from the top of the jar & likewise, thread your new flowers through.) The flowers will vary according to availability, but I'll be careful to choose a style that I think works well.
They brighten the house all year round and are very popular as gifts for Valentines Day, Mother's day and Birthdays to name a few occassions.
